Just a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning maternity session in Savannah, Georgia. Baby Angela’s mom looked absolutely radiant in her elegant gray maternity gown, and the picturesque surroundings only added to the beauty of the day. It was clear from the very beginning how much love and anticipation surrounded this sweet baby girl. Fast forward to now, and I had the honor of meeting little Angela herself, and she is every bit as special as I imagined.

Angela’s arrival was eagerly awaited by her entire family, especially her mom. With two older brothers at home, this sweet girl is the perfect addition to their family. Her mama had always dreamed of having a little girl to share all the girly moments with—the dresses, the bows, and all the special traditions that come with raising a daughter. Angela’s arrival was truly a dream come true for her family, and the joy in their home was palpable the moment I walked in.

From the very start of our session, Baby Angela melted my heart. She was so calm, cuddly, and content, making my job an absolute dream. Newborn sessions often come with a bit of unpredictability, but Angela was as sweet and cooperative as could be. She let me capture all the photos I envisioned without making a peep. Her serene demeanor was matched only by her undeniable cuteness.

I was so excited to meet this sweet, beautiful little girl! The anticipation leading up to her session was electrifying, and I could hardly wait to capture the essence of who she is. From the very first conversation I had with her mom, I just knew that Sweet Baby Lola was destined to be a little princess. As we discussed ideas for her newborn photos, a vision began to form in my mind—one that would ensure her royal spirit shone through in every frame.

Sweet Baby Lola is not only charming but also incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated and loving mother. Her mom is a teacher in the Greenville school district, and it’s clear that education and nurturing are core values in their household. I can already envision the wonderful journey ahead for Miss Lola, as her mother will instill in her not only knowledge but also the love of learning, curiosity, and compassion for others. I have no doubt that Sweet Baby Lola is going to grow up to be sweet and smart, with endless possibilities ahead of her.

For her newborn session, we decided to go with a palette of neutral tones complemented by soft spots of pink—a choice that beautifully reflects both innocence and femininity. The neutral backdrop created a serene atmosphere, allowing Lola’s gentle expressions and the playful touches of pink to take center stage. I was so excited to see this handsome fellow walk through my door. As many of you know, I generally schedule newborns out by months and I recommend booking within the second trimester. We ask that parents do that just to help us ensure that we have availability once your baby is born. Every now and then we are able to take a baby that hasn’t been booked with us and it was definitely fate that we were able to get sweet baby Eli in for his newborn session. His mom made a post in a local facebook group for Greenville, South Carolina mom that I am a part of. She selected me and I felt so blessed.

Sweet Baby Eli come to his newborn photos with his mom and sister. It was so amazing to see the way that sweet loved her little brother. She was so kind and gentle with him throughout the session and best of all she was just has picture perfect as baby brother. This session was taken a few months back and I have been able to see this sweet family a few times now and it is such a blessing to see how their sibling relationship has just continued to blossom.

During the planning of this session, mom told me that she just wanted to keep it simple and all about baby, which is the value that we stand on. Of course, we were happy to follow those direction. We decided, after a little light stalking of mom, that the light blue tone would be perfect for baby as we saw that he had a head of great hair. We followed up with complimenting light tones to ensure the session stayed all about baby.

I was so excited when this sweet family reached out to me. They are from North Carolina and came down to South Carolina for me, when they saw a family friend’s images. No pressure!

All jokes aside, I feel so blessed anytime that I am given the opportunity to photo for any family. Miss Madison was the perfect princess during her session, and whats even better is that as a princess she has her very on protector already (a big brother). You see, Madison’s big brother is also known as HULK! For his love of the Hulk, whom he brought to his baby sisters’s photo session. He was so excited to see have her moment in front of the camera, and because he was so sweet and patience during the process we took a few photos of his Hulk, because Hulk for life.

I cannot wait to see this sweet girl grow and of course see what she learns for her sweet big brother.

During Baby Madison’s session her mom expressed a love for the pinks and teals, which matched Madison’s daintiness and beautiful complexion to a T!

We were so excited to meet Sweet Kinely. During Kinely’s moms maternity session, we had an in depth conversation about her newborn session. I was so excited when her mom mentioned yellow and sunflowers. This sweet mom was so excited about having a girl after two boys. I just knew that this sweet girl would be perfect.

Kinely was just as perfect as I thought that she would be. We got to use sunflowers as well as a lot of yellow. This session turned out sweeter than I thought that it would. When her family arrived, you could be see the love gush from them all and Kinely just seemed so relaxed as she just soaked up all of the love.

Our experience was so amazing and I could’ve kept this sweet girl in studio. She was probably one of the best newborns that I have had in studio since I got here. I feel so blessed that her sweet family was referred to us from a family friend.

Sweet Cassidy is such a special little lady to me. You see, Cassidy was one of the first newborns that I got to follow through my first year in Greenville, Sc. I was so excited to spending time with this sweet girl and to get to watch her bloom on the last year.

I met sweet Cassidy through a model call I posted. I honestly just wanted to take pictures of a baby girl in a new prop that my husband bought for me while I was out of town. As soon as Cassidy’s mom reached out to me, I knew that Cassidy would be prefect. She stole my heart with her cheeks and hair as a newborn, and her smile and personality as a one year old!! During her newborn session, this sweet little love was so easy to work with. She let me pose her anyway that I needed, which is not always the case with newborns. They often have a mind of their own. I was in high hopes that she would be as easy to work with as a toddler and she was! It was an answered blessing.

During our planning for this session, Cassidy’s mom told me that the theme of the first birthday party was “up, up, and away”. It is so fitting, as the time flies by so quickly with children and before you know it the year is up up and away. They grow so quickly and it tears me apart to watch this sweet little loves grow so quickly. I see their little features shortly after they are born and then I get to watch them grow into their personality. During this session, I learned that this sweet girl is one of the lucky ones. During her first 6months of life, she got to stay at home with her mother, and during her next 6months, she got to stay at home with her father. it was amazing to see the bond that she has with both of her parents.

Words simply cannot describe the overwhelming sweetness that filled the room as I captured the love and tenderness surrounding this precious little one.

There is something truly special about the meaning behind Luca’s name. Luca means ‘bringer of light,’ and it is undoubtedly a perfect reflection of his presence in this world. He has already brought so much light into the lives of his family, and I have no doubt that he will continue to do so as he grows. Every moment spent with him was filled with warmth and an almost tangible sense of love.

What made this session even more exciting was the fact that Luca’s family had recently relocated to my little area in Reidville, South Carolina. It is always such a joy to welcome new families to our community, and I sincerely hope that I get to capture many more milestones for them in the years to come. There is something so rewarding about watching families grow and being a part of their journey through my lens.

As I reflect on this session, I am filled with gratitude for being able to do what I love—preserving these fleeting moments of joy and connection. Well, hello there Myles! Check out this beautiful little bear—isn’t he the cutest little bear you have ever seen? Myles and his loving parents came by the studio so we could capture his newborn photos, and let me tell you, he was an absolute dream to photograph.

Mr. Myles! I fell in love with this sweet baby the moment I saw his adorable little head of hair. He was seriously the sweetest baby in a long line of sweet babies I’ve had the honor of photographing. During the planning process for his session, his mom and I discussed the details of what she envisioned. When she mentioned blue, I was thrilled! I knew that light blue would be absolutely perfect for him, and it truly brought out his beautiful features in every shot.

When Myles arrived, he was calm, cuddly, and oh-so-precious. Every pose we tried fit him so perfectly, and he settled into each one with ease. From his tiny fingers to his soft cheeks, every little detail of Myles was a joy to capture. The light blue tones we incorporated throughout the session added a soft, serene touch that perfectly complemented his sweet personality.

One of my favorite moments from Myles’ session was seeing the love and pride radiating from his parents. Their bond with him was so evident, and it was heartwarming to witness the joy they felt as they watched their little bear being photographed. Savannah’s Beautiful Newborn Photos

O my Savannah, how sweet is this precious little princess! I felt so blessed from the moment that I saw those sweet cheeks walk through my door! Words can never explain how amazing it makes me feel to see these beautiful babies come through my door and for me to have the opportunity to capture this special time in their life. Miss Savannah was just as sweet as she was beautiful. Her sweet mama came to me after seeing her friend’s newborn images.
